Clare is a specialist Private Client solicitor with many years of experience working with clients in the York area.  Her clients appreciate her straight-forward and personal approach and her professional and efficient manner. She has found that this service consistently leads to long-lasting client relationships and recommendations and referrals to family and friends.

Clare is a Fully Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), an independent, national organisation of lawyers who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable clients, their families and carers, and has achieved the Older Client Care in Practice (OCCP) Award from SFE.

Clare enjoys the variety of work that comes through the door of a private client team; drafting wills, Powers of Attorney & Court of Protection, trusts, estate & tax planning, and the personal dimension that that brings.  She is a firm believer in a holistic approach and ensures that clients leave her feeling relieved and having peace of mind that all their legal matters are in order.

She also strongly believes the value that an experienced solicitor can bring is in the problem-solving, and working out a solution that fits that client’s circumstances, as everyone is different.  We know that you can buy a Will from the local stationers or complete a Power of Attorney online, but what you get from seeing an experienced solicitor is a solution that is tailored to you. We do this day in, day out, and have seen the pitfalls and can guide you through them.

When she isn’t working Clare spends time with her children, practising Taekwondo, exercising, and getting outdoors.
