Siân Whelan

Sian leads the People Operations team at Roche Legal. She has over 15 years of HR experience across multiple industries at the senior management level.

Our People Operations team work to ensure that every member of our team is properly taken care of. They deal with all people and HR related tasks in a personal and professional way.

Before going into HR, Sian gained a degree in Psychology from the University of Durham. She believes this has stood her in great stead throughout her time in HR. More recently, Sian has become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). She is also a CIPD committee member of the North Yorkshire branch.

When she’s not taking care of teams like Roche Legal or mentoring other HR professionals, Sian enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside.
