What happens to my digital assets on death?

If you have digital assets or online bank accounts, then you must leave clear instructions with your executors as to what should happen to these assets on your death.

Just like we organise our paperwork, keeping an up-to-date list of online email and bank accounts, together with any social media sites will make it easier for loved ones to understand your wishes.

Presently, this is best achieved in a Letter of Wishes accompanying your Will and we can advise you on how best to go about this.

If you’d like more information about protecting or transferring your online assets after death, please contact us for more information.
