Making a Will

Whatever age you are, a Will lets you decide what happens to your money, property and possessions on your death.

By making a Will, you can also direct assets away from nursing home fees, and people you’d rather not inherit. You can also make sure you don’t pay more inheritance tax than you need to.

We can write your Will to deal with many things, including appointing who will carry out your wishes, who will receive your money and property, and who will look after your children.

Making a Will is vital so that your friends and family know what your wishes are.

Wills in Braille, Large Print and Easy Read

If you are visually impaired, we can produce information in Braille, Large Print, Audio and Easy Read, if required.

As many of our legal documents contain personal information, we do this via the ISO approved secure production unit of the Royal National Institute for the Blind.

Please ask if you’d like more information.

What is a Living Will?

A Living Will allows you to set out when and in what circumstances you wish to refuse medical or life-sustaining treatment in the future.

If you are concerned about making your wishes known should you become unable to communicate with your loved ones and the medical profession, then talk to us about making a Living Will.

We can take you through the important considerations and advise you if a Living Will or a Lasting Power of Attorney is right for you.
