Dementia Awareness Week – 18 to 23 May

It is Dementia Awareness Week from today until the 23 May 2015. We would love to hear from you if you are taking part in any fundraising, or know of any local activities going on, so get in touch.

We will also be holding a Dementia Friends information session on the 26 June so watch out for more details about that and come along if you can – everyone is welcome.

Dementia can happen to anyone and although there is currently no cure, life doesn’t have to end when dementia begins.

Alzheimer’s Society which, champions Dementia Awareness Week do everything they can to help people living with dementia hold onto their lives and the things they love. You can find out lots more about Dementia Awareness Week and how you can help on the Alzheimer’s Society website.
