We need authority and ID to release original document(s) that we are storing.

You will need to provide 1 Photo ID and 1 Address ID. We have a guide on what ID is required in the ‘Proof of Identity’ section, follow this link to find that section.

We send all original documents out by Royal Mail tracked to the UK and abroad.

Where a document is held in the names of more than one person, we will require this form to be completed by each person.

If a Will or Power of Attorney is being requested by an executor or Attorney, all executors and/or Attorneys will need to complete a form.

If I’m an executor requesting a Will for someone who has died, who does this document belong to?

Although the person who made the Will has died, the document still belongs to them, so you’ll need to complete this form using the dropdown that says the documents belong to ‘someone else’.

I’m an executor requesting a Will for someone who has died and there are more executors, do you need ID from us all?

Yes, we’ll need ID for all executors named in the Will. If any of the executors have died, we’ll need a Death Certificate for them instead.

I’m one of several Attorneys named in a Lasting Power of Attorney and I need the LPA(s) to start managing the affairs of the person who made the LPA(s). How do I complete this form?

You’ll need to select the dropdown which says the document belongs to ‘someone else’. We’ll also need ID from all Attorneys. If any of the Attorneys have died, we’ll need a Death Certificate instead.
