Rachel Roche and the team at Roche Legal are celebrating another significant achievement after being shortlisted in the Niche Law Firm of the Year category of the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2018.
The news comes hard on the heels of Rachel’s nomination on the shortlist for the Law Society’s Sole Practitioner of the Year award to highlight the work of York based Roche Legal, one of the most progressive solicitor’s firms in the country.
The Yorkshire Legal Awards have been honouring excellence within the region’s legal profession over the past 18 years and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, taking place on 11 October 2018 at New Dock Hall, Leeds.
The award nominations reflect the impact Rachel and Roche Legal are making with the recent launch of a cutting-edge Will writing programme and the publication of two pocket sized information books – the first two in a series of eight books – designed to demystify the legal process and help clients deal with challenging situations, particularly involving an elderly relative.
Rachel said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Niche Law Firm of the Year in the Yorkshire Legal Awards. At Roche Legal we believe in using new technology to enhance our traditional way of dealing with clients to ensure we are as time efficient as possible in an increasingly hectic life. We developed the Will writing programme over a two-year period because we identified that there is a real need to help more people to make a Will in this country. More than 40m people in Britain have not made a Will which is a worrying statistic.”
Rachel and her team at Roche Legal are all Dementia Friends and have considerable experience and expertise in dealing with clients who are living with this disease and she added: “We are committed to giving a voice to the vulnerable and elderly and to ensure their final wishes are carried out.”
